Hi there! It's been a little bit since I posted here. I got kinda sidetracked. I started randomly working on this personal graphic design project, and I bought a brand spanking-new GPU for my computer! Other than that, I feel like I've just been sort of slacking. I need to get back onto learning HTML/CSS/JavaScript. I don't want to lose my momentum!
I've actually got some exciting things planned for this website. I sat down and thought about what I really want to do with my website here, and I actually started to come up with some halfway decent ideas. "Streets ahead" was originally just a placeholder name because I couldn't think of anything interesting, but now I think I'm going to keep it. I'm going to render out some images in Blender (should be easier than ever now thanks to my fancy new GPU) and try to make the website laid out like an old point-and-click style game. The landing page will be outside, on the side of the steet, near one of those stop signs with the intersecting green street signs. One will say "Welcome to" and the other will say "Streets Ahead!"
I'm thinking the website will essentially be a navigable neighborhood. Each "house" will be a different webpage. Or perhaps the street will just lead to one house, and each room in that house will be its own webpage. Many things to consider! I'll drop back in when I'm ready to start adding all of that.
In any case, see you in the next one!

Good morning. Just finished a project at work that took me about two hours. My stomach is a little upset this morning, but I'm drinking some water, and that is helping to soothe it.
Instead of doing "Part 2," "Part 3," and so on for my additional blog posts on a given day, I figure it makes more sense just to do a line break and then put the time in

Really just posting this update to see what it looks like when I make another "blog post." Trying different styles, seeing what it looks like when this is in its own div vs in the same div, etc.
Also, I am very full. I had Mexican food earlier and I definitely ate too much. Also, we had to throw away our leftovers. :( r.i.p. leftover chicken nachos.
That's all. :)

Hello there. This is my first blog post. It's very strange to write a blog post as lines of code, but I guess that's one way people would've done it on their personal websites in the good ol' days. Eventually I'll try to learn to code something that will let me enter blog posts and submit, and then it will format everything as I desire. In fact, I'm sure that wouldn't be difficult at all.
Anyways, this page here was originally created to learn how to link to another page from the homepage, and I also briefly used it to test heading formatting. That was all on the first day of my learning HTML and CSS. Now I'm going to turn it into a blog page. Just going to do some highly loose formatting here for the time being. I'll come back as I learn more and format it to be more pleasing to the eye. Though I still want to keep that dated 90s internet aesthetic.
